For data structures theres a book by Tenenbaum which has some great algorithms. well explained and some functions of algorithms also given to help student.

2. Tannenbaum : Expert Book
3. Knuth Series : 3 books in series , The total (and classic) reference to DS .

Yashavant Kanetkar's "LET US C" and balaguruswami' programming in C r really nice books.
also try Kerningham-Ritchy' ANSI C.for DS Kruse / Tondo's book is probably THE best(afaik)

The best book on C and Data Structures are

C In Depth
&
Data Structures Through C In Depth
from BPB by Deepali Srivastava

I have gone through both books and really got them written in wonderful way. I really did not found any other book which has given this much of knowledge in C and most of the data structures in details.
