I have a Core2Quad 8300 machine - ASUS P5GQPLAM MOBO - WITH 4GB DDR2 RAM 800MHz, - zotac GTX 660 with 120GB KINGSTON SSD. Used for a decade, still going good, plays 2K videos, 4K videos stutter, good for 2K browsing. Can play games released until 2015 Smoothly in HD. I don't know how much i can sell it for??

Biggest limiting factor seems to be the ram. You'll need atleast 8gigs for somewhat smooth gameplay, I don't know if that board supports it though.

DDR2 has a maximum capacity of 8 gb, but those modules are very rare and very few motherboards support it. so the maximum RAM he can expand is limited to 4GB.

I think the board has 2 slots only so max 4GB supported.
