Are there any regular cable tv STBs with DVI or D-Sub Vga output?

It would make it really easy to use a 22" pc lcd instead of buying a lcd tv in that size range...
 
Not sure if I understood your questions correctly. - You want a STB with a DVI/VGA out??

I haven't really seen a box with VGA out from the big guys... Here you have two options... get one of those composite to VGA converter boxes . Check out dx.com

or use a HDMI to DVI cable for the HD boxes.
 
Yes, a regular cable (CAS) STB with dvi or vga or hdmi out. Not HD (are there any HD stbs?)

Are the composite-to-vga converters available locally? What's the price range? The ones on dx.com are priced around $35 putting them 50% more expensive than the STB itself!
