Hi guys,
I have to shift 2 Mumbai with full family. It could be this year but it all depends on my sister's education. She's doing her Company Secretaryship which shes not liking. So if she decides to quit doing her CS course(after her results come out l8r this month) I will prolly have to shift to Mumbai or else next 1 year I will stay back (incase she passes). So its 50-50

I am planning my future education after graduating in Australia. They need two years of work experience which would be a call center since it would save some money for the education and also give the experience letter to me.

My question is that are there call centres in Mumbai where I can work. I am in B. Com 1st year. And what will be the payscales for full timers? College makes no sense to me. The degree is for namesake.

IF I stay back in Hyd, I can easily get work( which I will get after I turn 18 this month)

Please guys help. Its urgent.

Yeah, but you don't need to attend college. All he has to do is enroll in a college in mumbai, give the exams and pass.

I have loads of friends in call centres.. Yet to meet someone who saves money though..

There are loads of call centres in Mumbai. Most of them with walk in interviews. With a decent command over english, which you seem to have, you'll get in easily.

Cheers dude and All the best.

What I mean is I'll take up admission in some college but not go to the college. Will wor my a$$ in Jan, Feb.

If I saty back , I can earn upto 10k pm + maybe some incentives - staying costs.

Neways, which areas are call centres located.

You might end up spending more than the money you earn in bombay. the place is incredibly expensive to live in. you can't save from a call center job unless you are a real miser. Better look elsewhere if you want to work in a call center. Hyderabad is a lot cheaper.

The call centre hub would be in Malad West (just get to Mindspace). There are also many located in Powai and Vashi. Just look up the papers when you are in Mumbai. You'll find loads of ads. Alternatively you can approach a recruitment agency. loads of them all over the place. I dont know of any. You'll have to look out for them yourself.

However many of them have being a graduate as a prerequisite nowadays.

Arrey I am shifting with my full family so dad is my ATM :ohyeah: :ohyeah: The money is for saving and the work experience is the gateway to a good university in Aus.

Ne more help?? None of you or friends working in CC's ?? What salaries do they get?

Dunno if u r gng to take itin the right spirit, but I do not think a MBA from anywhere makes sense if you do not even wish to complete your undergrad course properly....

I mean if you feel your undergrad degree is just for the sake of the paper it is printed on, I am not too sure if you should really be planning to go in for a grad course

Don't get me wrong... Just trying to help you think over what you really want to do in life...

well u jus need 2 be firm in ur english and CONFIDENT

u can score anywhere between 2.5-4 lakhs CTC annually depending on how u bargain, thats how the scene is for call centres @ mumbai,n gettin a job is a piece of cake (provided u know 2 speak decent english and dont have ur native language sound in ur english)

There are lots of call centers in mumabi afaik, daksh, sutherland, wipro, etc mostly situated in malad-andheri area............

Even though you are a undergrad getting a 8-10k job shouldn't be a problem if you have a good command over english.

Lol i guess i repeated what every other guy here said :P
