CALL OF DUTY : B.O lag issue - plz help

i played this game's SP at 1440*900 at 0xAA and without shadows on my rig and i could play without any lag......... and the game become more smooth after the second patch...... although there isn't much improvement in the multiplayer..... it sound still breaks while playing the game with the lag in gameplay at all resolutions(even at 800*600) with all settings to lowest........

looks like i have to upgrade my rig soon.......
 
Finally started it today. All maxed out. Loving it. This thing is intense. Stutters if the vSync is left off.
