Completed the game. Another good game i played after bioshock infinite. Good and an interesting story narrated wonderfully.
No complaint against the gameplay.visuals are pretty and artistic .Some locations are similar to resident evil 4.

PS:- If you want an extended gameplay select the "revenge"ending first. Otherwise chose the "redemption" one. In any case the story ends well.

Fired up the title yesterday, completed the first 2 chapters and called it quits thanks to the pending three episodes in Person of Interest.

I am glad that Techland chose to have the old West setting this time. Going by the reviews, The Cartel was a disaster so I refrained from playing it and losing my interest in the series a la Resident Evil 6! Looks like the gameplay hasn’t improved from Bound in Blood drastically other than the short bullet time dodge sequences. Voice acting is fantastic as usual and I am loving the narrative based gameplay. And it appears this is the first time we have cel-shaded visuals in the series and it does look good!

But one major irritant - thick black bars at the top and bottom giving it a movie’ish look. Takes so much of space on the display! :banghead:

Yes,this is not on UR3. I like Cell shaded games - Prince of Persia 2008 being one . This game is like - FUN . I played Cartel till the end and dont know how i mustered up my courage and there was no need for TECHLAND to have it in modern or current era. Glad that they learned from it,hoping to see some great IP from them on the next gen consoles.

Indeed, taking up around 5-10% of the screen. Not cool.

I'll play the game using a controller after I finish FC3.

Continued the game from where I had left off and completed 7-8 chapters in a sitting. 3 more remain. :P

Suffices to say, I am having a blast with the title (sans for the black bars on the display). Absolutely loved the narrative-driven storyline - especially those sequences which require an alternate playthrough (the bank heist by the Dalton bros. for instance). Reached level 16 as of now, unlocked all the upgrades for the pistol and a few for the rifles (shotgun ones remain untouched; haven't used the shotgun much).

It took me a while to get used to the dueling. Silas' right hand was gradually drifting away from the gun while the crosshair was zeroing on into the opponent. Practiced a bit and got it right. Shall complete the game today evening and begin Metro: Last Light possibly.[DOUBLEPOST=1372397010][/DOUBLEPOST]Completed it! Brilliant game. As much as I missed the McCall brothers from the last title, Silas managed to keep the story rolling with his excellent Western-style narratives. Not once in the game, did I get the feeling of being bored. Good job Techland.

Chose the Redemption ending btw.
