No. Actually caller ID convertor is a small box. Converts signal from FSK to DTMF.

Its not available at Nehru Place.

This is too expensive! Isn't there a cheaper Indian/chinese version anywhere?

I think fintel used to make it. Now i'm not able to find it in market.
Anyone on Lamington rd please help.

Fintel one is available... Though quality is questionable.. Its sold as ADSL Splitter (That's what is written on my converter).. It also looks the same like the splitter we use nowadays...

But its actually a Caller ID converter... Costs 300bucks... :)

My advice.. look around in Lamington Road.. But check that its working, before you buy...

No idea about Lamington Road... You have to look around. Ask in shops selling electronic components (IC's, Capacitors, Transistors, Resistors)...

I read about it in few forums but nobody mentioned specifically where to get it... But rest assured its available @ Lamington Road.. It looks exactly like an ADSL Splitter & its even written on the box.

@var89 .. Buddy you are from Delhi... so Palika Bazaar is your best bet... Take your phone along to check the converter before buying if possible... Else try Khan Market, though I am not sure about this one...

I am sure sellers @ Palika know about this & sell it as well...
