PC Peripherals Calling all APC SUA1000UXI users

Hi all,

I have recently bought an APC SUA1000UXI and am using Exide 7AH batteries with it. Unfortunately, i am getting a very poor backup time of 11 minutes at about 14% load. I have raised it at apc forums.

Please could you let me know what batteries do you use and what is the typical backup time.

Hey i have replied to your PM. check that and revert to me. You cannot expect more back up on a 7 AH battery. Specify which company batteries have you connected
 
Thanks Kishore i have PMed you. I have 7AH Exide batteries. Forgot to mention the PSU in my system is Corsair CX500.
 
7AH batt X 2 = 14AH X 12V = 168 VA = 134 W Total Power = Output 107 Watts at 80% (Max) = Less than 10 Min with 500 Watts SMPS.

Your UPS is fine. Get bigger battteries. Preferably 75 AH Batteries or more.
