There have been too many complaints about Rashi and their service when it comes to Asus products (specially motherboards). I happened to be the latest victim and when I posted my experience with them on this forum, a lot of other users came up with their own harrowing stories.

Now, all of us know that Asus do manufacture good products, but despite that many of us has vowed to keep away from Asus, just because we want to avoid dealing with Rashi's service.

If you have had a bad experience with Asus, please post here. Maybe we should have a campaign going against Rashi for it to improve it's service so that we can start having the same confidence in Asus that we have in other boards.

Till then I'm staying away from Asus at all costs !

i quit using asus 5 years back till date havent touched at all. but with rashi they still have my mobo which went for RMA 2 months back, reasons and more thats about it.

i think they are trying to create a new record of providing worst service to the customers. and they are really doing this well.

Rashi Mumbai is well known for its antiques ! Here the service is quite ok as otherwise ppl will just beat the ppl up ! Even for a 200 rs pen drive , ppl here threaten shop keepers to give replecement leave alone going to service centre. Thats hw it should be :D....hold them by their nuts they will be fine :)

In Punjab and Chandigarh service also fine.

My XFX 6800GT bought in Chandigarh had to be sent to Rashi, Mumbai for replacement. They took took their sweet time (about 2 months) to give me the replacement even though the local dealer (Not Amarbir) put a lot of pressure to get it done quickly.

Its just the way they work. They try their best to avoid a replacement. First they see if you can be made to give up by boring you to death with delays, then they try to offer a faulty or sometimes the same unit you sent for replacement to see if you run out of patience and give up. If nothing else works they will give you the replacement eventually. Most people usually get fed up with their antics and give up long before they are left with no choice but to give a replacement.

My Logitech MX518's grip was coming off within 3-4 months of purchase.

Contacted Logitech support, approved, CC'ed the mail to Rashi.

Some Rashi RMA guy initially said this isnt under warranty, I told him to fcuk off and said Logitech approved it. Spoke to 2 other superior's in calm tone explaining my issue. They said that they'll take it and get approved from someone at their end and asked me to forward the mail.

Since all rashi decisions and accounting is done in bombay, they took a week for approval and kept procrastinating it for another 2 weeks due to non availability, bombay office unresponsive, shipping delay...

So after about 20 days I was like screw you, give me a credit note. Which again seemed like an uphill battle since it was already 5:30PM and server from bombay office was offline.

But the accountant was very helpful as he repeatedly called the bombay office, got the server running and gave me my credit note.

Went to SMC got a new MX518 Rev003 instead of 001. :D

I would term this experience as unpleasant cuz I atleast got it done within 20 days and 4 trips to NP.

maybe its time to draw out a petition and send it directly to the company\distributors (whoever is one step before rashi in the distribution chain). Mention that it is affecting the reputation of the brands in the country; with enough signatures it may have some effect.

enuf signatures???? At max maybe we can arrange for 100 signatures, dont know whether thats gonna make any difference or not. Have sent 2-3 mails to Asus about Rashi service but havent recieved any positive reply.

Instead of signatures, these kinds of threads would be enough for someone techie in the chain to take notice. Unless Asus wants to lose the major part of their business, they will have to step up and take notice for what is happening here.

Keep posting guys. It speaks volumes about Rashi's notorious service that no one has posted as having a pleasant experience with Rashi Mumbai

My experience with rashi chennai was pathetic! Took 3 weeks to flash the bios on a motherboard, and the board went kaput thrice. Finally bugged them so much for a replacement, which I got after 1 and half months. Haven't touched asus stuff in 2 years time.
