I have an UPS 600VA {old one} who battery was off and recently I bought one Battery for it .

It was off for nearly one year and before that also the old battery didn't worked good. so my current rig was not tested on it :annoyed:

I am running only my CPU on this UPS so my question is can i also add monitor to it ??????

Useless you mentioned your current config, we cant be sure.
If yours low-mid end, probably you can hook up the monitor too.
Post your psu watts.

Did you mean 'Useless' or 'Unless'. :P
I am assuming that his rig config is the one mentioned in his signature. If that's the case the UPS will probably provide a backup of about six to seven minutes with an LCD monitor and I'm being optimistic here. If he adds a CRT, there will be no backup time at all.

See my signature :)

I have a LCD

@princeoo7 the most optimistic estimate I can give for the backup you will get out of your 600VA UPS is around ~1 -->3 minutes.

This I say because it all depends on the load on your SMPS, I have the following RIG --
AMD Phenom IIx4 965 3.4GHz @1.3v
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
MSi HD 5770
2GB x3 RIPJAWS 1333MHz
2 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 320GB
1 x Western Digital Green Edition 1TB
Cooler Master Real Power Pro 460W

all this running off an APC 550VA UPS and depending upon my activity I get between ~1 -->2 minutes of backup from the same; if I am gaming sometimes the RIG gets Reset.
