This is the reason that I dont own any apple device.Long answer: Absolutely Not
Will probably sell this. Wonder why nobody calls apple out on this.Tim Cook is furious that you even asked the question.
Now he is tracking you down and sending the ghost of Steve Jobs to haunt you till you buy an iphone.
No you cant connect apple watch to androidI got an apple series 9 watch from my previous company as a gift. I dont own any apple devices other than the watch, is there any easy way to connect the watch with my android phone ?
Nothing in apple watch that you can't find in an android watch honestly , if anything some have way better battery life.. What's so special about it ?Tbh the watch is absolutely worth it. If not for the watch, I might not have continued with apple ecosystem.
I have used an android watch the interface is pretty laggy. While you can say the features are same, using an android watch feels like using a 2012 era smartphone like Samsung Champ, etc. While apple watch feels like a 2017+ smartphone.Nothing in apple watch that you can't find in an android watch honestly , if anything some have way better battery life.. Good question, seems like half the smart watch market share is owned by Apple watch. What's so special about it ?
In android it depends on watch just like phone, you can buy a 2k noise / boat or a proper samsung or high end amazefit .. same as android phone pretty much you can buy 6k laggy redmi or a high end samsung... I love amazefit though they worked with both ios and android seeamlessly .I have used an android watch the interface is pretty laggy. I have used a samsung galaxy watch, trust me the experience is miles ahead in apple watch. In android it depends on watch just like phone, you can buy a 2k noise / boat or a proper samsung or high end amazefit .. same as android phone pretty much you can buy 6k laggy redmi or a high end samsung... Also battery sucks for most apple watches, my friend sold his apple watch and got fossil hybrid which goes over 20 days without charging also i need special sports watches which only come in android from garmin and others.
I do like apple watches , price aside they are fine specimen i just hate how they try to lock you into ecosystems and make you pay for pods , chargers and stuff when in android u can still get jack sd card and so and that u can't use apple watch with an android, I would never endorse such practises as a consumer even if I like the watch personally.
I do own an ipad and mac though, but even logging into apple music on Android can be task sometimes as the code goes to apple devices not phone and it's tedious . Apple products are fine but since jobs the focus seems more on these kind of things than innovations , and they call dynamic island and innovation.

Tbh it sounds typical apple hogwash in the name of user experience or whatever without mentioning any specific features function etc ,but I won't turn this into ios vs android discussion , to each it's own i guess , as long as the user is happy and willing to pay premium it shouldn't bother anyoneI have used a samsung galaxy watch, trust me the experience is miles ahead in apple watch.
The battery life is bad on the watch, but doesn't bother me. I am okay with not wearing the watch for an hour a day.
I don't want to argue wrt apple vs non-apple world, there are other threads already for this and I don't think I will add anything new.
But I will just end it with below statement:
While spec comparison and all sounds fancy, the user experience is what matters the most. If you can't use all the hardware beneath from your software, it's pointless. Apple with its iOS and watchOS have made a far better user experience than any android equivalent by efficiently using their hardware.
I think they work with both os ?
Hope you develop enough braincells to not categorise people like this. Wish you a speedy maturity.typical apple hogwash
