hey ppl,
i really want to play smackdown v/s raw 2006 online.may i know the cost of the adapter?will my local cable walla's 64 Kbps connection do?the game wwe smackdown v/s raw 2006 supports online play..but will it lag if i connect to the US servers or something?

Hardly anyone has tried this. But i will do try for myself in 2 weeks when i get slimline.

For now, if your SDvRAW is a *cough* Backup *cough* then you'll need to patch it with a DNAS id.

For that, i have a site where the tools are available.

A DNAS is contains of 4 units. each unit consists alphanumeric. For example ,a dnas id of say Fifa 2006 goes like this -

a1 wf 4p 6y

Now, the last 2 units '4p' and '6y' are the same for ALL the the FIFA 2006 disks, NTSC version, but, the the first two unit are not the same for any 2 disk, they are always different.

All you have to do (don't worry mods, its legal) is -

Grab the tools from the site i'll give you after you PM me.

Download the patcher tool.

Now, rip the backed up SDvsRAW 2006 to an ISO in your PC.

Thing up the first 2 units (4 alphanumerics)

Then patch the ISO with it

RE-Burn on a blank DVD

Play.

And i doubt it'll run perfectly on a 64, it's said to lag on 128-246's...so 64 may not work that well. Still worth a try though.

Anyway's, you need to enquire the last 2 units which are the same and remian exclusive to all SDvsRAW 2006 of that particular region(say NTSC) then you of course need a DVD burner.

------

EDIT- Sorry, a DNAS id consis of 5 units not 4, and the last 3 are the same, the first two you'll have to think up.

once i get a slimline, i'll try and see if India can get online on ps2.

i am not sure mate, with 64kbps connection i dont see much scope for online play, even if you, ever get decent pings in the first place.

Why are you getting a slimline, Buy a Network Adapter instead & buy a xbox 360 or PS3 after a few months.

dude the old fatboy is fussing out on me. Some laser probs or something, this is the 4rth time it has totally broke down, and takes at least 6 tries before it boots

the games. Besides, slimline is just easy to carry around, and this guys got a good deal for me, 2k for a new slimline, after the old brokedown fatboy exchange.

A network adapter costs 3k

:P

As for ps3...i've got to see them settle down, something tells me the blueray's gonna' crash. So, i'll wait for next yr end to see which one's the best and go for it.

Meanwhile, getting 6600GT next month.

(finally!)
