Hello,
I have bought some material from one of the TE dealer, the transaction i did directly on his website based on the information on his website, when he shipped the product it was not the same quantity that was mentioned on the website. when i confronted him about this he argues he is correct and is very arrogant in his reply. i feel cheated, if TE forum allows me to wirte a feed back or post my grievances, if i am wrong you can take what ever action on me. He is a major Dealer on TE. let other people know of this guy

I think you can... Had it not been that he was a TE member u could have give ur feedback about any site..

So same applies now also...

It will b good for someone who is thinking of making nay transactions there..!!

i feel ppl should know abt false dealers...please do feel free to write...

@OP,

I believe that seller must be from Mumbai...
I do have a similar experience when I was new..although the product was fine but he charged almost double for local shipping.
Promised to give discount on second deal but refused to give when I contacted him next time.

While you cannot hope for redressal on issues you might have elsewhere, you sure are welcome to post any feedback.

Yup. Plz share your experience as the dealer is registered in TE and you are also a member of TE.
IINM if you have not posted on that particular sale thread or PMed him about a particular product and not dealt with it via TE then as Stalker says you cannot hope for redressal on the issue.
But you can sure post your experience here so others will be better informed when dealing with that particular dealer.

Guys ,

He Is Talking About Me ,The Following Transaction Was Done

1 : Coolermaster Heatsink Compound - > Coolermaster

Now He Has Got The Material and Tells Me That Instead of a 250 Gram I Have Shipped Him 40 Gr .Have a Look At This Place -> Coolermaster IceFusion RG-ICF-CWR2-GP .He is Seeing the Shipping Weight And forcing Me To Belive He Is Correct And I Am Wrong ,Possible He did Not Understand ,Can Someone Please Explain Him .

^^ Its not a case of a hard to please end user. VtecComp from what I gather from his nick and the mail convo in posted in the other thread is himself a reseller. Someone like him would be well aware of the going market rates and the denominations of weights available for such products. Yet he choose to ignore conflicting weight indications in the picture and the web page, assumes that the shipping weight posted on the page is product weight, and does not bother to confirm with the seller about the conflict. Now that is too hard for me to believe. I can imagine a newbie end user ordering something from a website without any idea about the market rates and denominations for the product, but I hardly except that a reseller would buy something (even if he does not know what the product is used for) without being aware of the denominations and corresponding market rates. He would have inquired from a dozen sources before making a purchase. I don't know what his intentions are, but probably, I think I do know what they are not... "sincere"

if it is amarbir you are talking about , then he is not a dealer but still your complaint is not right . so too bad

LM - not going into the argument whether the buyer may be aware of this or not, i feel the listing is incorrect and misleading

For such thermal compunds or anything where the quantity of the product matters, its the site's responsibility to list it properly

Here, the listing must have clearly said, the weight of the tube is so and so. It wasnt mentioned.
and Weight of shipment must be seperate and explicity mentioned

The link which akg7091 mentioned doesnt have the tube weight

Here it is clear that a TIM tube cant be 250gms, so thats fine
What about some other stuff, which comes in 50gms and 250 gms containers.
I hope Amarbir correct this on his site

Try as i may cannot seem to find the link mentioned on the site.

And whats the idea of mentioning 250Gms courier weight.

Online shops dont mention processor weight or motherboard weight while shipping.Just the shipping charges.Really that 250 Gms should be removed.
