CPU/Mobo Can I put 8800GTS in MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum 1.0 Mobo??

Hi,
I have a MSI K8N Neo4 platinum PCB Version 1.0 Motherboard. Can I put 8800GTS card in the PCIe slot?? I mean whether it will get any obstruction on the mobo. Now I am using 6600GT card. If possible i wll upgrade my mobo+processor later.

It'll fit on the board just fine, though you will lose one pci slot obviously and one sata port also might be unsuable. You can easily get around it by using an L shaped cable if u need

the motherboard is fine.
to get most out from any 8800 card, you must need a AMD X2 processor and 1gb RAM (for VISTA).
also you need a big cabinet in length. the card, in length, is bigger than than the motherboard.

no other problem... I am also with Platinum.

Thanks 4 the reply. FYI, I am using Antec Super LANBoy cabinet and 400watt Antec Smartpower 2.0 PSU. I have 1 GB ram but processor is 3200+.

All SATA slots usable, coz the 8800GTS heat sink is curved at the power end.

I suggest u get a better PSU.
