Can i use VX2245WM for PS2 display?

thats what i want to ask experts who are using consoles...

i want to play PS2 game on this 22" LCD which has both inputs... Analogue as well as DVI.

i can switch displays anytime.. is there any converters for PS2 video output to this LCD? expert advice wanted :)
 
Buy A external TV Tuner Card or if your display supports Sync on Green get a component cable & After some modification with the cable u can use it with u r PS2................

will the PS2 gameplay be compatible for 1440x900 resolution and will the display be jaggy as my LCD supports 1680x1050!! should i buy that tv tuner?
i need a TV tuner with 1680x1050 any suggestions? how is the clarity of this TV Tuner? the specs of it looks impressive.
 
Thats the one i bought 5-8 months back for Rs. 1375/- ask him that u want a a component cable for the TV Tuner BOX, as the manual says it has component IN as well as when switching between systems u get component option. So i very much think it supports component in.

And u will need this cable for your playstation, but before buying this confirm the component CAble for the TV tuner with your local dealer.

U can play through composite out/In on your lcd but the picture quality is not that good, if u want quality go for component or else composite will work right out of the box............
 
i do have component outputs from my PS2. there is
yellow - for video
red/white - audio.
i use that to attach on tv.
tell me, what is composite output?
this tv tuner comes with Yellow/Red/White inputs which can take PS2's output. how would be the result on my LCD?

Dude thats Composite & component is 3 Pins for Video [Green, Blue & Red] & 2 Pins for Audio [White & Red/Black].......
The image quality will be lil blurry & will be washed out. Won't be sharp [overall not a good viewing experience as compared to component]...
 
^^ ok i bought that component cable online.. ill ask my dealer if he gives me component inputs.. but i think i got a component cable with my graphics card which i ordered from USA.. has 5 inputs for video and audio marked as Yr Yb Yr etc.. will go home and check out.. i shall hold the order of this cable online for now..
 
I think you would probably not be satisfied with the final result. I tried God of War 2 on my PS3 connected to my LCD through HDMI and the end result looked short of horrible. PS2 games have a base resolution around the 640 x 480 mark and nothing much can be done to give a decently good output on a high resolution monitor.

well i bought that gadmei tuner for 1550 bux and its a total waste of money...

i see all the games pixelated... damn.. i use only 3 inputs. yellow/white/red..

i tried adjusting contrast/brightness/color but that helped little bit...

anyways is there any ways to increase base resolution of 640x480 to somewhat higher resolution? however, my tv tuner gives output of 1680x1050 full.. only prob is output with PS2!! damn.. waste of money..

now should i buy those component cable recommended by andrew? i didnt get component input cable with my tv tuner... dealers said that we dont get it on this but there is an input for component cable stating Ybryg output or something like that. andrew can u give me link from where i can buy component cable for tv tuner?

A D-terminal cable is somewhat similar to Component cable just its uses a single connector and the D-Terminal is widely used in Japanese AV Devices...

And i told u that the Pic quality won't be good on composite, i dont know where u will get a component cable for your TV tuner Box. As i bought it for my friend and its under warranty so cannot open the TV tuner Box to see the connections........

U will have to buy this to get good quality.......
