I was looking for a gamepad which could be use with my laptop, went ahead and bought Microsoft Wired Controller from Indiatimes.com Link.
But these guys have sent me a XBOX 360 Wireless controller :banghead:  instead of the wired one.

Don't have much knowledge about gamepad etc.. so please help me....:(
My question is there a way I can use this wireless controller with my laptop, or returning it is the only choice for me?

If you check the link above, the wireless controller box already has the receiver in the package. You can easily sell the controller for 2.5-3k based on the buyer. A single receiver supports upto 4 devices, so even someone who has a wireless receiver can use the additional controller for PC. I have one but am not looking to buy another controller.

Also, get the wired controller from here and save about 375 Rs. or check ebay to save more.

ebay has the controllers selling for as low as 1.5k. check the seller reputation and choose wisely.

a top rated seller with total shipped cost less than 1.6k

I got my wireless controller and reciever as a single package...

Still recommend the resell the wireless and buy the wired, as suggested above :D

Wireless one is very convenient. I sold my wired one and got a wireless one just a week back. Would suggest you get a receiver.

Someone on the forums was selling both the wireless controller and the receiver for cheap - keep an eye out for that thread!

That thread has been wiped off the grid. I had already confirmed last night with the seller that I was going to purchase the wireless receiver and today morning I can't find a single trace of that thread ever being created.

Here's the funny thing. His thread seems to have migrated to IVG and the wireless receiver is sold. He didn't even feel like mentioning it over here. Nice!
