Storage Solutions Can someone from Kolkata lend me a SATA HDD for 2-3 weeks ?

Hi, fellow members. I found that my 3yrs old HDD has a few problems(working though). I want to send it for RMA. But as a CSE student, I can't afford to keep my computer off for that period. I have an external HDD for backup. Just need 25-30GB unpartitioned space of a HDD to install XP and SUSE. Right now, I don't have money to buy a new/used one as I have to buy a monitor also. Thought if any kind TE member can help me. :) And if not, then I have to wait until the PUJA vacation (last week of September). :( So, if anyone wants to lend me a SATA HDD for that RMA period (2-3weeks), I will be grateful.

I can pickup the HDD from almost anywhere in Kolkata. :)

Edit:- I have only one PATA(IDE) port which is why I requested for a sata one. But if its fine to use an IDE HDD and an optical drive as Master&Slave, I have no problem.
 
All out of idle spares dude. I do have a FW case with an IDE disk in it, but you can't partition it :( as it is a regularly used backup drive. Sorry, wish I could've been more helpful.

btw, I think the Samsung service center should be near your locality. Do you know it's exact location ?
 
IIRC it's on Hazra Road just after the crossing of JL Nehru Road, I went there six years ago for some issues with my monitor. I don't know if they shifted after that...
