Hey Longtime !!
Had midterms. . . .

Now I thought before getting new IEMs I need to buy a decent source.And I was planning to get an Ipod but it will come in December I guess.So for timebeing I will get a Sansa.
SO I need a Sansa Clip+ 2gb/4gb in mint condition.If you have any dealer who sells new it will be good.If any group buys going on please let me know.

Also about the IEMs I think I will get the Blue Signature Accoustics.But I need another listen with a good source to refresh their signature.Lets hope Mr Gautam will let me try them again :)

For time being help me get a Sansa !!

Should I get a 4gb or 2gb ?
I have a 8gb mirco sd card.
Also if I read it correctly I can expand upto 32gb right ?
Also is this grabmore site reliable ?

Also it says it's going to import from usa . . I wont have to pay any customs right ?

2gb is listed for 2907/- and 4gb is for 3350/- .. sorry for the wrong information in the above post :| . The price difference is 450/- approx. These days for 450/- you can get a 16gb microSD easily. I suggest go for 2gb and buy the memory card. I'm using 2gb Clip+ with 32gb microSD.

Grabmore has COD option so you don't have to worry about your money. I think the listed price is the final price and it says free shipping. So 3350/- will be the final price. BTW they have not mentioned any warranty for the product :(
 
I plan to rockbox the clip+.So warranty is not an issue.

But I dont want a faulty piece :S

I am asking someone on another forum who got clip+ from grabmore.

Even I had plans of getting 4gb Clip zip from grabmore. The pricing is High IMO.
Few points before purchasing from grabmore...
1.The pricing includes customs but Octroi& Services charges applicable[depending on region]
2.In case of RMA/Services in Warranty you have to send the player to them along with 1500 INR as one way Shipping charge.

Now I've decided to get it from the trusted @PristineNote itself. Hoping they bring it sooner.

I guess you know them personally so can you confirm with them.
Also can you share some more info on Signature Acoustic? When are they releasing it & can I expect some budget IEM say less than 1500 INR.
I want a good IEM between JVC FX34 marshmallow & Brainwavz M1. Presently I own sound magic ES18

Signature Accoustics look very promising
There is one entry level IEM@1.5k which is for mainstream folks[rap,pop kinda music]
Very bass heavy and nice thump
It is going to be released next month I guess.
Rest are 6k IEMs which I liked . .they are analytical yet fun.

I am going to get the Sansa from cart2india ebay seller.I trust them.

Someone is going to get Stiff Competition I guess....;)

IMO there not much IEM's around this budget looking forward for it.

Now just want them to bring older clip+ or Clip zip soon to pair with SA.
 
Interesting, I seem to have ordered before you but still waiting for my Clip+ :S

As for IEM's- for 1.5k, MEE M6 would be a good option, no?
 
They called me day before yesterday saying there is some stock of clip+ in India itself can they dispatch it.Came today by Aaramex.I ordered on 5th btw.

Hopefully yours will arrive soon.
 
Guys who are from Mumbai/Pune or have got stuff delivered to Mumbai/Pune, can you pls comment on the Octroi scenario in these cities?...I intend to buy a phone and IEMs online. Do I have to pay a hefty amount as Octroi(4-5%)?...any specific parts in Mumbai, where Octroi is not chrged??(so that I can try n get it sourced to someone over there)....Any particular couriers that bypass Octroi tolls, n any that do not?...i'll then ask the seller to courier accordingly if possible...

Hope it lasts a couple of yrs atleast(n I hope SM's build quality is not as bad as some ppl say! )
I've had a Philips SE3750 (which i dint like much) and a Sennheiser PMX-90 (which I liked a lot...except that its a neck-band type)....Hope I'm not disappointed by these SMs, as I'm spending more than double of what I had initially planned(was inclined to buy JVC Marshmallows for jus 500 bucks...but going by ur reccos, I'm buying this instead)....Any last-minute suggestions, guys?
 
You can call Pristine Note and ask them if they have SMs in stock.

People like @esanthosh will be able to help you about the octroi matter since they always buy/trade something new every fortnight :)
