Can this device be used instead of buying a dvd player to watch movie on tv???

With dvd player ill write cds on comp and than run on it ...

But this one look more cooler to me...
but dont have any idea or review about the product

well... i bought HDD case for my 2.5" HDD which allows me to play the avi, mpeg and vob files directly on my TV with the help of AV cable.... i would recommend that to you... it works great on LCD TV... it does have some problems (can't play H.264 files, no RMVB and HD movies) but you can play the normal DVD rips anytime and also the TV series.
