Laptops Can we order lappy from dell us site???

What I wanted to know is can we order the Dell lappy from the dell US site or we can only order from dell india??

I thing ther's a huge price difference plus Dell us also has discount coupons which can be used.

Planning to buy a Vostro 840 or 860.

If you are residing in India and want the laptop delivered to your residence then you have to order from the Dell India site.

If you have a friend/relative in the US and is willing to get it for you then you can order from the Dell US site and get it shipped to his/her residence. Dell US will not ship to India.

Required for ordering from Dell US site:

1. US credit card/Paypal. Indian Credit cards (even international ones) NOT allowed.

2. A US shipping Address. (Export restrictions)

No coupons on India site. You can call n bargain with the reps tho.

if they dont give any discounts, ask them to throw in some freebies... i got an extra 9 cell battery (apart from the bundled 6 cell one) for free.

Yeh checking out. Met a local dealer who adviced me not to go for vostro but instes buy inspiron 1525. Lol priced at 38k Did not want so spent much
