plz suggest

thanks

Yes you can use a SSD in your laptop, do post your laptop model and config first though

Is that 40k budget just for the SSD or are you looking for a complete laptop including a SSD

Dont do it! Instead get the laptop and replace the SSD, ask the guys at the service centre to do it for you. This way, you have both the HDD and the SSD, also try to get the optical drive replaced by a HDD usng a caddy.

Um, no. What I meant was that it would be better to get the HDD and swap it out for the SSD. THis way you get the full warranty of the SSD (and you might need it too).

Also, if you find yourself running out of space, you could swap the optical drive for a HDD with a HDD caddy which is available on ebay.com for 12 USD + shipping/customs. This way you could have the best of both worlds! However, you wont have a optical drive.
