Hi friends, I've decided to sell my much loved DSLR camera. The camera was bought in July 2018. I had a love for photography since my childhood and would go out wandering with my tiny point & shoot when I was in college. So after getting a job, when I finally had enough money, I bought this DSLR.
Unfortunately circumstances changed, life took unexpected turns and now I no longer feel like going out and taking pictures of random stuff, nor do I have the time to, even if I wanted. Selling this camera makes me a bit emotional as it was my first big splurge. I am sure fellow tech enthusiasts would understand the emotions involved with gadgets bought after years of dreaming about them.
I have the following items, please read below for details.
The camera - Canon 200D
This camera, with a 24.1 megapixel sensor, was very advanced for its time and price range. It was bought in July 2018. It comes with a touchscreen with some basic editing features. It has wi-fi and can wirelessly transfer photos to your phone and PC and even upload to Instagram (never tried this). The touchscreen has had screenguard applied from the very beginning. I have always taken care of it like it was a baby. Never dropped or left out in the open for even a few minutes. It was either hanging around my neck or inside the bag. The bag has always had silica gel packets in it to prevent moisture damage.
There is only one minor issue, the mic slot cover comes off. The little thing which makes it hang broke off, probably because I never used it and it hardened. The cover stays in place perfectly fine, just that you have to be careful not to misplace it if and when you take it off.
The camera price includes the Nikon camera bag, 28-55 mm kit lens, and 16 GB memory card
Lenses
I bought 3 other lenses.
Canon 24 mm prime lens - bought August 2018
Canon 55-250 mm zoom lens - bought May 2019
Yongnuo 50 mm prime lens - This one has the same design and characteristics as the canon 50 mm prime lens. It was bought from the US in November 2018, probably. I don't remember the exact date.
Accessories
I didn't buy too many accessories for the camera. While I kept planning to get this and that, lack of opportunities to practice kept holding me back.
I got this Opteka macro attachment from the US along with the Yongnuo lens. It's basically a magnifying glass which fits in front of the lens:
And this UV filter. The UV filter has always been stored in its case and has barely been used 2-3 times.
Lastly, I got this bag, which I'll obviously not need after selling the camera. I found it a bit large to carry around, and hence preferred the Nikon bag.
Since there's a lot of stuff and I don't have boxes for any of these, I'd prefer a local deal. This will also allow the buyer to check and verify the items to their satisfaction before buying. I'm located in Mumbai, Andheri area and can meet up in nearby areas over the weekends.
The pricing reflects the current market prices, which have gone up a lot post COVID. However, I'm open to negotiations, especially if you're buying all of the stuff together.
Edit: Even though I've listed the prices separately, I'd prefer to sell everything together and would like to wait for some time to find a buyer who is willing to buy all or most of the stuff together.
