Looking forward to purchase Canon EOS 1100D with or without supplied 18-55mm Lens.

Also looking for a compatible Prime Lens.

Camera should be under warranty.

Topic is also open to suggestion for sources where i can purchase one for a good price.

Lowest offer found for brand new is

EOS 1000D + 18-55mm IS lens + 2GB SD + Carry Case = inr26000(as per fah33m when he checked yesterday at some shop :P)

contacted them but their pricing is a bit high.

will check their forum again as i could not find any deal for 1000D a few days ago when i checked :)
 
Well, if ur expecting to get some rock bottom deals for SLR, u need to suffice with 300D and sorts. 1000D is after a relative new one. I havent seen one below 15k, 1.5yrs for kit. till now. Once for 13k, just for body though.

Just now one went for ~19k. :). 400D still for 15k. :)

the thing is that the pricing on new has come down.

1000D + 18-5mm IS + 2GB SD + Bag is costing a just above 19k after discount on letsbuy. So i would prefer 2yr warranty above 4k bargain. :ashamed:

lets see what i get hit with until coming weekend.

@madnav if you are keen on saving a few bucks a 1000D with kit lens on sale in surat photography circle for 19.5k also a Nikon D3000 for 20k.

Can talk for you if you are interested.
 
I think he mentioned in his previous posts itself that he can get 1000D + kitlens around 19K, 18.2 to be precise from letsbuy.com. I think he changed his mindset to HD recoding also :)
 
thread has been rendered useless now since I ordered 550D instead...yes i snapped :ashamed: :P
