hey! nice purchase... I got one to... but with a cannon 55-300mm lens...

just a small question... if you take a night shot.... say a nice dark street with a sodium vapour lamp... does the pics come out kinda red??

why's it red? no additional fileters or anyhting...
 
What ISO and aperture? Whats the exact characteristics of the lens as well? The thing I've noticed is that at high ISOs and large apertures, the CMOS sensor seems to be most sensitive to red color. You can mitigate the situation by either using a flash or using a faster lens.
 
hmm.. I am using either the stock cannon lens... and if i remember.. it's at 100iso.. anyway.. thanks.. shall continue trying to fig this out.... sorry to barge into ur thread..
 
Dude.... Congrats! As its a Superb Buy! I was thinking to get this after I go n learn few tricks from a photographer friend of mine :D

BTW, Hope you keep updating this thread wid more of good detailed images!
