for a mod is do they make a change in lens or the body, and where pal they do it..i am in delhi

It isn't cheap - they charge 450 USD to convert a 350D (you send it to them). They recommend switching to IR-only (as opposed to IR+visible). Then autofocus, autoexposure etc all works as normal.

@titana: I doubt you'd find a mod in Delhi.

I still find it weird that the Elan can't handle IR. I think you can try, but you'd have to do all the exposure, focusing work by yourself. Try it Mr Chaos, and let us know...
