Can't Access F:\ partition in Winvista

Hi guys, my friend's laptop was previously loaded with windows Xp, that time it had 4 partitions C, D , E and F, now its upgraded to windows vista 64bit edition, all the partitions expect F drive works fine, when trying to access it , gives error : " ACCESS DENIED "

Why its so guys.. Pls help to sort it out..

Try error checking with "automatically fix file system errors" checked.

Or just try entering the partition thru the address bar. Maybe a auto-run file is in there?

^ both gives the same error can't access.

I suppose F is not the OS folder.. In that case, you can try taking ownership of the folder. Right click the drive, and on the security tab, give the user full control. Or else you can check this link:

It should probably work out that way..
