i can't connect my asus rt-n13 u with tp link modem.Internet led is on,but still when i connect the internet through asus wifi,the internet doesn't connects,is it may be because i have entered user name and password on both modem/router?I have checked it..but it doesn't works either..please help me :( :(

P.s. I am on BSNL.

The internet LED means you have a signal on the WAN port - does not actually mean internet is working.

Try pinging the BSNL/TP Link router and see. Ensure that you have set the following

TP Link LAN - 192.168.0.X series
ASUS WAN - DHCP
ASUS LAN - 192.168.1.x series.

using DDWRT on asus or stock ? if on DDWRT

setup >WAN >Disabled
setup>Disable DHCP
Setup >Assign WAN Port to LAN
Connect Cable from Modem to Asus Router
On PC dhcp =auto

On Modem TPLINL
Configure account (BSNL/whichever )
dhcp =on
