Then this is a very good price for a wonderful amp.

I have one, but it overheats and shuts itself. Going to upgrade my wirings tomorrow. If it wont solve the problem, I will buy this.

Jennifer, Check the ground wire and fuse of your amp, the problem might be there.Mine amp never tripped or went into protection,i use to run a set of comps and sub on this.

Sorry for bumping your thread.

Are you using 8GA or 6GA wires? Is it from a distribution block or directly from battery? Does the ground goes to battery or chassis?

And come on guys, this Amp will beat the new JBL 1004e at sound quality.

I am using (Audison)8Ga wire, direct from battery,I don't use a distribution block. Ground has to go to chassis.

When it comes to SQ, there are lot more parameters that come into consideration.

Free Bump for you. Awesome price and one of the best JBL Amp.

I am remembering the days - searching the entire GP Road when JBL stopped production of this Amp. (I hope I have piad around 10k even in Grey for this amp)

Good luck for the trade. But I wonder why don't you keep this gem with you? (I wont sell my 75.4 even for 10k now)

my pleasure tanvir. just make sure you pack it well before you ship it! and use GATI or DTDC. my personal experience with both has been good. Professional is also a good service!

Tanvir - how old is this? Did you buy in grey or with B&W?

Also, did you ever face overheating problems in the amp? What setup were you running on this?

Lastly - why are you selling it?

@nishant,It was bought in Aug 2007.It was bought without B&W.This amp is working awesome from day one till this day, mine never went into protection mode.I can give my personal warranty for it.I use my car 20-30 mins a week, as i keep on traveling 21-24 days a month( I Hate my Job)so it hasn't been used much.

I am selling it,because of upgrade.

@Frank, even I prefer DTDC, Most of our official correspondence is through them, I am satisfied with their service.Packing is not a issue as i have the original box.Anyways required care will be taken for sure.

Cheers!
