hi again :tongue:

now i need a car audio config :ohyeah:

i really dont know about car audio stuff...so dont get mad @ me lol

budget is 2.5grands us$ will purchase from newegg or anywhere else... :bleh:

so this is what i am looking for....

deck - mp3,cd player and shd be compatible with cowon d2 player or ipod ;)
front speakers/rear speakers/amp/sub/tweeter and all u can suggest me !!

PS. i want boooooooming sound !! my frend in USA got a sytem with 4 amps 4 woofers (all sony xplode) (4 or 5 channel system i guess i donno exactly) i dont care.....but remeber my budget !!
also, what do u say about hertz sub ? and a bass tube ?? anyways, need a good config !!
 
2.5 grand it means approx 100k INR...

for this I would go with the folowing..

HU-> 7950 for 9k (it has USB support)
Amp-> JBL 75.4 or GZTA 4.120MK² for speakers (10k)
Components for front -> Illusion Audio Electra or Luccent Series (6.5k or 11.5k)
For the rear speaker I would to drop the idea as I dont like the idea of sound coming from the back.
Sub woofer amp -> two pioneer D510 or single JBL 1201 or Alpine MRD 1005 for (20k)
Sub-> GZRW 12 XD-AL Ground Zero sub (solid SPL)12k

total.

9+10+6.5+20+12+12=69.5
or
9+10+11.5+20+12+12=74.5

in the above the HU and the sub amp is in grey rest the stuff is with B/W
also the stuff which is with b/w if you source them for outside india it will cost you expensive.

other than above we would need cables like power , RCA and Speaker I would allocate approx 5k for the same.

and with two sub in the boot some damping is also required, and a enclosure. I would allocate a 5k here also

so the final budget would be approx 85k which leaves you with 15k.:tongue:
 
alright...but i need rear speakers too..suggest me ....and how about going for 5/6 channel setup ?

and can u gimme the links to the sub ? i googled it but im unable 2 find :(

why do you require a 5/6 channel setup..??? or what do you mean by that.

this what ground zero is all about ....total SPL...

177 db for a single sub..which other company uses more than 9 or more sub woofer to produce....

Why do you want to get the stuff from the net it will cost you more as there is customs on the car audio stuff..

alright, by 5/6 channel i meant for the car obviously...will it make a diff ?

and pls temme setup for rear speakers too

yes there are 5/6 channel amps available but the wattages are quite less. to do the sub woofer job..and these models are quite less made. for your job you need a 4 channel amp as you also need speakers in the back , and a mono block for the sub duty. as you need two subs then two mono to get max output.

for the rear speakers you can put one more component kit in the back for the same...

budget 85+11.5 = 95 k still leaves you with 5k..

ya that is one soild sub and cost above 1 lac for a single pc.

Dude.. u need to be looking @ Sounddomain.com

Also I would say competition series subs from Rockford-Fosgate and JL Audio's 12W7 will kick some nice LOW-butt... but then its costing a bomb too :P

alright, gr8 !! but there is no 1.8000UD model there...its GZPA 1.6000D i guess...right ??

and pls pls give me the link to the front+rear speakers...Luccent series or/and the other one ...

well..like i told u i don have much knowledge abt all these so kindly educate me...wat all features can i get within 10k....it shd have usb support i.e for cowon/ipod...

the 7950 is the best bet with lots of good features....

where do you put up Delhi or where...
