yup, that's tru, many would have seen this, or may be not. few days ago there was a post stating that the pre-order was for Rs. 599/-, and now with that they are giving Carbon and ProStreet free with the purchase.

Ordered this package just a few min ago, hope i finish downloading Carbon fast enough and complete it before undercover is read for download.

But was just wondering, if Undercover is good enough (good enough or may be more than MW), then why this marketing gimmick to give lower the price and give free goodies to attract more customers (i surely was).

Because ProStreet did more harm to the NFS franchisee and name than good. The removal of the police chases was a big deal breaker for me and afaik, even the free roaming in the city was removed from prostreet.
I had lost intrest in the NFS series, but i have heard that the police chases and the free roaming is being reintroduced in Undercover.
So they will first need to woo their fans and users back to the NFS series, so that the intrest in the NFS series is rekindled.
Also, they have earned whatever they could from Carbon and ProStreet, giving them with the new purchases is not going to make them loose out on sales of those games. So it is actually a smart move.

yup that may be real reason behind this free goodies. hope my X360 Controller pad comes soon (it will not, cause my sister will be bringing it from UK, she's arriving end of this month (a good gift from a really wonderful sis ) )

I am not able to preorder. Some issue there. Can someone else pre order for me and I can download it myself? I can of course pay that person.

check all the entered details correctly, i was facing that problem few days ago (was just wondering what was wrong), i had spelling mistake in my last name (double character), and so was not able to submit the order (how did they know that was the mistake, or was it something else, may it was for credit card thing), but good that it did not work at that time, free game offer was not available at that time.

I ordered a few days back. Somebody had posted the link in predatorvj's pre-order thread in Dealer's Section. Already have Carbon DVD but I lost the key. Didn't waste cash on Pro Street but since I'm getting it for free, will give it a spin soon as I get some free time :).

How does it work , do i get the setup files that i can burn to a dvd or does it install. Can i take a backup of the install, does it come on steam ?

Can someone answer these questions for me :)

I did check it properly. Somehow it is not accepting the details.

this would be the same ea store that only hosts your download for a few months right?

on the ea store site it is said for 6 months, but if extended period is selected then its stated for 2 years (have to pay some more price for this service though - but its less than 100 rs.)

guys, looks like that offer is over now, on the ea store price is showing Rs. 999/- now and also the free stuff is gone.
