Anyway the reality is different

I dint feel it different in my case. I had quit job for another too and even when I had got into multiple disagreements with my managers during my tenure in the previous company which resulted in me quitting it for another job, I had a pleasant parting terms with them.
Doesn't matter what happens within the company because its all professional stunts (may be for their gains or what so ever it is) and should not be taken personal.

Professional world is a small place. Don't burn bridges, never know who you're going to bump into in future.
