Carrying carrom board on plane

Guys I will be traveling to Finland next week. Mumbai->Frankfurt(Lufthansa)->Heilsinki(Finnair)
I want to carry a carrom board with me. weight would be approx 16kg. Is it allowed? Tickets are already booked. How much would it cost?
I was going to courier it first, but they are quoting 25,000.
 
I suppose carrom board will bee considered over size luggage and may have a different per kg/bulk price (based on dimensions), may be you can contact the airline directly and ask about it.
Also i hope the ticket is thru so that you do not have to take your luggage in Frankfurt and the airline will transfer it to Finnair flight.

It's a connecting flight. So I guess I will receive the luggage directly in Finland.

Just confirm this once. Since it is international as well at Germany so i guess it should be Thru Check In but i strongly suggest you confirm. I have had a case wherein mine was connecting flight only from Mumbai-Washington DC-Dallas Fort Worth but i got to know at check in time that it wasn't through check in and i had to collect all my luggage at washington DC and transfer it to local flight in US.

Its simpler if you take detailed readings/measurements and drawings of the carrom board and make one there. It will also be cheaper than carrying one from here.

This site seems to deliver every where in europe.
