Market Feedback CAUTION: Beware of buyer/seller misusing names of other members to buy/sell

Case #1- vriship (seller) vs deep_nx(buyer)- Benq E2200HD

Seller distorted facts while seeking sugegstions on phone- i stated facts related to a similar product i had sold long back.

Mostly seller distorted my statements to his own advantage while bargaining with deep_nx

Case #2- andrew327 (seller) vs has33(buyer)- Dell U2410

Buyer pushed his own lowballing tactics saying i provided suggestions with respect to the product and the pricing for the same.

As per seller's feedback, he stated things that i mostly won't say even if not in a sane mood.

I don't think i have interacted with has33(hawk on E), via any medium, in the past 6-8 months at least, if not way more.

Names have been mentioned only to caution others.

The seemingly intelligent are constantly craving for names for no reason.

One cannot and should not take names without any concrete proof.

The person seemingly exposing the issue may also not be trustworthy enough.

Till proved, both parties to me are on the same scale.

Hence i have only mentioned names and the issues and anyone concerned about the matter may do the research at their end.

I am not openly accusing anyone yet. :)

I asked you the approx price i could get for the lcd, you told me it should easily sell around 7k. deep_nx had a WTB thread where i posted that i had one for sale..

he asked for my cell no. thru pm, i gave him that, calls me up and told me that his budget was 5k max. and that he knew a very senior member UDIT on TE and according to him, the price should be 4.5k. to 5k max..

He asked me whether i knew UDIT or not, i told him that i havent ever interacted with him. I told that i knew bikey, then he told me that even he knew bikey and even bikey would agree to a price of 4.5-5k max for the lcd. I told thats not possible as i had already consulted bikey regarding the pricing and that he was quoting too low. After that i just told him that just around a month back, a E2200HD was sold by you at 7k i suppose..

My question is, where have i distorted any facts told by you bikey sir??

I even had a talk with you on phone regarding this.

could you please explain this?

^ E2200HD sold by me had a scratch on the panel and the deal was done quite a few months back maybe.

Buyer got it inspected at my place via his friend and also inspected personally before pickup.
He was dissuaded from buying it and allowed to use it for some weeks before being asked if he still wanted to buy and pay for the same..
He said he can live with it and confirmed his decision to buy it.
Sold for 7K then, which later happened to become 6.5K effectively due to rebates from my own pocket on certain other items purchased from/via me.
You were told the same, most of it, esp the time and price of sale for sure.

I had also told you that soon i may put up a 6-8 months old but 2-3 months used E2200HD, for 7.5K and will gladly let it go to the first genuine user who wants it, for 7K (out of my own will even if not asked for discount).
Some others may also know this info during some interaction with me.
Few of them don't mind getting a lil old LCD in newish condition instead of a new G2220 as they need the HDMI but don't have or want to pay more for a new E2200 or G2420..
You are smart enough to get it that i was hinting that your sales are overpriced usually, especially when they have been sourced from someone else for much lesser and maybe even used for sometime in-between.

You mentioned your lcd was around a year old and used for 3 months max- turned out it's almost 2 years old?.
I told you max to max you may get 7K- just trying to be supportive though you don't deserve it.
You cribbed over 7K and i said you may try your luck and you might get 7.5K if you are lucky and find some bakra, as you do usually with most of your sales.
All said- you using personal interaction over phone and my name for your sale is just not done for sure.

That said, deep_nx also didn't have to drag Udit into the process.

If one cannot justify their sale price or lowballing on their own merit and use casual suggestions from others for their own devious intentions, they are of dubious character imho;
irrespective of how nice they act with others.

And if you read my previous post again, i have already said i didn't accuse anyone yet- so you may rest easy?

But i hope people read over, under and between the lines and wherever else possible. :)
p.s. i let it go earlier but even in the previous matter i had said i won't post a clinical analysis of your clarifications to avoid any further damage to your dubious reputation;
Though the clarifications only indicated you had no regret for your fraudulent activity then.

Maybe i should now, when i get the time to do so- sorry.

Oh shit, poor Andrew! As such, he was selling the U2410 for a ridiculously low price and yet he had to lowball! :(

Good that your brought out the culprits nevertheless. This had to be done sooner or later.

^ In this world the only people who are 'poor' are people like you who buy for more and sell for less, way less at times. :P
So please don't feel sorry for anyone. :)

And leave that.
I heard that i told the buyer/has33 that-
- that U2410 is not good or has some issues or some similar crap
- the price of the same will fall soon
- the seller priced it for more in thread to keep room for negotiations (when i didn't even log in for some days and didn't even know andrew was selling a U2410. WTheck, i didn't even know he had one)
...

When i don't even remember interacting (PM/mail/phone) with the buyer/has33 for 6-8 monrhs or a year or way more. :S
The last time he surprised me with a call was a few months back maybe when he was thinking of buying the P43 mobo i had for sale.
He asked about it's OCing ability and said the same thing i had mentionedot others in the sale thread or in PMs and i didn't hear from his again since then- not even a backout confirmation.

(can someone please make a :dielaughing: smiley?) :P

:ashamed: :@

Sometimes I desire a quick sale and at times I pass on the stuff to some so called UPD who helps me through the deal. :devil2:
OK enough of OT here. :ashamed:

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

I really feel for Andrew TBH. :(

i always cross reference "what" 'who' said whenever a reference is made.. i have learn my lessons hard way in highschool politics and affairs :P

as for reference..

i myself have used bikey as a reference, but not claim what he said etc or to explain his opinion.

there was one sale where i considered involving him in the thread as a middle person but that too after seller mension him being a good friend of bikey. but the deal didnt happen for different reasons..

well that doesnt matter. i called up bikey same evening to confirm that the seller was indeed his friend.

i would suggest people to contact bikey directly if his reference comes up.. or even better.. just ask the other person to request bikey state the same point to you personally via PM or whatever mode bikey may like.coz if that is th case then bikey may as well deal with the thing on his behalf as he is doing it till now. makes sense ?

are but bikey, who told that i used ur reference. deep_nx since he was talking to me, was sticking to the point that UDIT told him....... and that when i told him that i didnt know him and i just had a suggestion from bikey and even he wont agree to that 4.5k price, then he told me that UDIT and bikey know each other well so even bikey would agree to that price.. at this point i just mentioned that i already had a talk to bikey about that. i just wanted to convey that 4.5k what he was quoting was way too low! i told him to quote a proper price. usually over pricing something doesnt mean that i want more money than the thing deserves , its just because a genuine buyer would surely quote a proper price and i do let it go then. quoting a bit high in the thread is only for some ppl who make ridiculous offers...

and i just brought this incidence to ur notice as he was the one using references to lowball....
