* Silent Operation: BLDC motors are generally much quieter than traditional induction motors, leading to more peaceful environments.

Most importantly, they run on inverter 3 times longer, so very crucial in area with frequent cuts where you can't even charge your battery.

Buying Guide: Key Considerations

* Large Rooms (>= 200 sq ft): 56-inch sweep fan or larger, or consider multiple fans.
* Blade Material:
* Aluminum: Lightweight, rust-proof, good airflow, common and affordable.
* Steel: Durable, sturdy, can be heavier, good for high-speed fans.
* Wood/Fibre: Primarily for decorative fans, can be less efficient in airflow compared to metal blades.
* Air Delivery (CMM) & RPM: Higher CMM (Cubic Meters per Minute) means more air moved, in my opinion the most important metric. RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) indicates speed. Balance is key - very high RPM can be noisy and their CMM would be low.
* Features: Remote control, speed settings, timer, sleep mode, boost mode are common. "Smart" fans add app control, voice control, and sometimes even sensors. Decide what features you actually need.
Note-smarter the fan is, more prone to getting scrapped. The repair cost will be equal to new non smart fans
