Im experiencing a weird problem. This has happened a number of times. When my cell is lying close to my mouse (MS Comfort Optical Mouse 3000) and the phone rings, sometimes the mouse just switches off!!! :S The light on the sensor goes out and the mouse refuses to work. I have to disconnect it and reconnect it or else it just dosent work. Any idea on why this his happening. I got this error message once as well, not all the times its happened.

Just like windows isnt it. How the hell am i supposed to click if the mouse isnt working

That's nothing.

If you keep a cellphone near a d-link 56k modem, the led's perform a full mexican wave thing nearly 2 seconds before you are about to receive a call.

Yes it happens.....You can actually move the cursor up and down by moving ur cellfome while on a call....It happens with almost all the mice....So the best way to avoid this is by keeping the phone away not only from the mouse but also the computer....

electromagnetic interference. SOlution - Keep cell away from mouse else buy a mouse that has better shielding.

EM interference in a corded mouse?

Icefusion ive tried using all the ports still the problem persists. Well anyway i guess the only solution is to keep the cell away from the mouse.

Ok a weird thing happened today. I was sitting on the comp with the phone in my pocket, and it rang. The bloody mouse just froze, refused to move for 3-4 secs and then started working again :S And i was playing CSS
