cell phone for 9.5 k

Go for 750i basically for that excellent 2MP cam.

Audio i dont have much idea but if u want a mix of audio and cam then go for W700i

I'd suggest you go for the K750i, as but for the sound quality, it is better than W550i in every other parameter..
I mean 2MP auto-focus cam (with flash!!) and the possibility to put in a mem card, are enough reasons for me to opt for a 750i over the 550i..

The K750i uses a Memory Stick Duo Pro...You can get 1GB for approx 1.4K..A 512MB duo pro stick would cost approx 800 bucks..

1GB would be 1.2k grey, friend got a w550i for 9250 with BW recently, the SQ is not that different between the hpm70 and the k750i orignal handsfree...just that the noise cancellation thing lets you listen at lower volume and get some more details/bass. Better tryout both the phones before you buy. :)
 
No, via the same earphones there is no difference between the k750 and w550. But music via the inbuilt speakers is much better on w550

also i have quoted price of 10.5 k for k 750 i .. so ...

k 750 i + 1 gb card + 810 i headphones .. how much ?

right now i am getting w550 i for 9650 rs ..

also how much songs in normal 128 kbps mp3 can be stored in 550i ..?
also can it play normal avi video files ?

at start i was looking for a phone with killer looks and very good sound .. but i think k 750i is good too.. but still cant make my mind..

as i said earlier .. only going to use this piece for 6-8 monhts .. not more than that ..

also does the camera of k750 i is better than nokia n72 ?

Are you talking about the sound quality through the external speakers?? did you compare the SQ through the hpm-70 as w800 has same handsfree, I'm sure there must be no difference when using hpm-70.

k750i is similar in terms of look, just that it's black, has got a cover for camera, and has no walkman branding

1gb card should be around 1.2k grey, and hpm-70 varies from 1000-1200 for orignals to 600 odd for grey (Though havn't used the grey ones myself)

Depends on the length of the mp3's eng songs are about 3mb odd whereas hindi songs ould take around 5mb @128kbps so u do the maths

You have to convert the files to 3gp or mp4 (172x144@200kbps max) for video's

The 750i cam is slightly better than N70 in photo mode, don't know about n72 though, should be almost similar...in video mod the N-series easily beats the SE's.

Though that's just my opinion ....u would be better off checking out both of them before getting one.
 
Me too will suggest k750 but if you really wanna play .avi files(xvid) then you can have a look at n72.btw i am not trying to confuse you. :);)

Think there was a single sticker on the box when I'd got one, though I had got from dubai around 1.5yrs back

Get the hpm-70 if you are getting it for 300 bucks after the tradeoff :cool2: , the orignal ones are good enough, just that the details and bass is more pronounced with the in-ear hpm-70. Also you may find the max volume with the orignal headphones a tad low, specially in crowded places.
 
I found that in HotSpot, New Friends Colony Market, New Delhi SE W800i is still available for Rs. 12,300/-. But this is 10 day old price when I was buying my Nokia N72. If you can go little higher then this is the best phone. It has Bundled 512MB Memory Card too. You can enquire about it. The shops Phone No. is: 011-32578933.
 
My k790 box had 2 stickers on it. . My phone dealer also advised me to swap my original earphones for hpm70 for no extra charge but to my dismay i realized that they were duplicate ones. . So i refused and instead bought them from a separate shop.
So just check them to be sure
