Cellphone for less than 15k

My sister needs a cellphone; her old Razr finally died.
Anyway, here are the primary factors:
1. Must look good (:S , right?)
2. Good camera
3. Smooth OS

PS: How much is the Nokia E71 for?
 
if it's for ur Sis...Razr2..i know it's quite old but looks awesome and has a decent camera too...and about the E71, it retails for around 18.5k in bangalore. It definitely isn't a looker though...

Razr2's not got a good OS. Most Motos are really slow et al..

Did you try it ? it runs Montavista Linux not Motorola's propriety OS

You can also checkout SE W890i , has all the things you want
 
How about the Nokia 6500 slide(S40 v5 OS)? It is solidly built and does not look too bad.

The Nokia 6210 Navigator does not look too bad either.

You can also check out the Motorola E8. It has some good looks and its morphing keypad has some eyecatching property. Its Omega wheel is pretty usable too. And I can confirm that it is pretty responsive.
 
what about the nokia e63, comes for around 14k. saw it on ebay for 13,990 (applying the ICICI code will make it 1,000 less i.e. 12,990) or use the gift code & get the sansa 2gb

dude 6500 has many problem I had one which went kaput:@ within 3 months.

N78 is going quite cheap as i gather.

Normally i dont recommend moto,Moto ZN5 has the best 5mp cam,and i hear its a good phone.Mind you,no 3g.

Then there's loads of lg,samsungs like LG KC550,LG KF510,LG KP500,Samsung G600 etc
 
But both N78 and ZN5 are ugly and he wants good looks

LG Cookie looks like a great phone at that price

It may have had been a one-off problem with your phone. Blaming all phones just because one phone failed is nonsense.

My friend is using the 6500 Slide without any problems for about the last 6-7 months and another friend bought it just last month. None have faced any problems so far.

Can u elaborate on the specific issues that you mentioned that plague the 6500 Slide?
 
Do not even think about the E71 if you want a good camera, though it will come out with flying colors for both your other requirements!
One of my friend has an E71, and he says the camera is really pathetic, they could have even not provided the camera!

Will you able able to wait or squeeze N79 in your budget or purchase plans?
 
I'd vote for the new SE W535 and LG Cookie. Moto ZN5 got good camera but a bit slow and interface looks so outdated though you can mod using some 3rd party firmware.
 
pretty much same requirements I am looking for too, as mentioned in 1st post. the SE W595's cam is pretty ordinary/mediocre as per reviews.

SE W902, though not a gr8 looker seems to carry in good features. Any idea if its available yet and what price it is selling at?
