The link you have posted for the RAM doesnt work.... I am going to Germany next week, so lookin for RAM, it would be cheaper to get it shipped within Europe so if you could please give me their contact information.

If you buy in Germany, it'll cost 21% more cos of VAT :P. If you buy anywhere inside EU, u'll have to pay VAT. In UK you can get it refunded while returning but not sure about Germany.

do tourists also have to pay the VAT ? in UK n all they refund the VAT charged to tourists if they confirm that they are not going to visit the country again in 6 months or so.
 
^^They refund it at the airport and I've heard a few horror stories over there. When you buy, you HAVE to pay the same price which includes VAT :P.
 
man...that's a huge price to pay for RAM....but i suppose the true value of this kit would be evident only to the OCers on TE
 
Thanks for pointing out the site chaos, My next RAM purchase in Dec/Jan for my final C2D Rig would be from this site probabaly. Going by the RAM prices in India, it seems like it would be better to get 800MHZ/1000MHz RAM from there. :D
 
isnt there any such site based in the USA which ships stuff abroad ? it would be even more cheaper i guess.
 
why no pics of the Kit re :-(
