Among them are Sony's new flagships, the Xperia Z and it's smaller and fatter brother the Xperia ZL. Huawei also launched their 6.1" HD display packing Ascend Mate and the 5" Ascend D2. ZTE wasn't to be left behind, and packed the allegedly slimmest 5" Full HD droid, the ZTE Grand S.

Analysis of Results

As is plenty apparent from the image above, Sony's Xperia Z (and more particularly ZL) and their Xperia ZL have absolutely stolen the show with amazing results for Quadrant, AnTuTu and CF-Bench. The only place where any other smartphone wins is at SunSpider 0.9.1 and that too by a measly 4 ms. That's pretty much a tie.

It seems that the Xperia Z and ZL will have a nice King-Of-Them-All status, at least till smartphones equipped with ARM Cortex A15 based quads and others start appearing, yes we are talking to you, you sleeping beast Galaxy S IV.

Kinda disappointing that these aren't that much better than the note 2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1967843

perhaps the S4 would up the benchmark. till then the intel chip on the lenovo k900 seems to leading- http://news.softpedia.com/news/CES-2013-Intel-Powered-Lenovo-K900-Gets-Benchmarked-Results-Are-Impressive-320351.shtml

The Intel Chip is absolutely dominating man! Sadly I don't care much for benchmarks.

Wanna buy Xperia ZL or S IV this summer!
