hmm..tats funny.500 mb total monthly transfer limit is 800 and so is 150 mb DAILY limit ..so ppl will naturally go for that only..(is sunday full day free in ur case or is it limited to 150 mb on tat day too?)
i will enquire abt the uss256 then..hope to get 1-2 mb speeds too

@guys,
i too had 5net for a few months b4 i decided that its time to change. if any1 of u guys are getting it from a fraud who goes by the name of bhushan thakkar, then be aware, coz on his network, he has a suscriber who i cannot name, who manipulates everything including users bandwidth. i am saying so coz i do know this person personally and i know what he is capable for as his hunger for bandwidth never dies, which is the reason i left this service.
i was using the usc300 plan where i was getting speeds upto 8 mbps at day with a cap of 3gb a month and night 11 pm to 9 am unlimited at 1mbps and sundays totally free...unless u were beeing manipulated.....
service was stable..and downtimes did occur when there was manipulation coz this was a PPPOE service.
if any1 of u getting it through lifestyle networks, then beaware of that bhushan fraud thakkar, even be aware of the name igate networks or I B NETWORKS.

torrents and http both were good, rs was bad and sux but at night sometimes my torrent speeds used to exceed 200k when downloading frm filelist and supertorrents...well i left it coz fo the manipulation, else who would leave such a good service....in terms fo bandwidth..

where do u ppl live? south mumbai i.e town side or the suburbs?

Im using the US300 plan proivided by 5Net : Deep Communications here in Sion.
I used to get torrent speeds upto 50k once upon a time, recently since about 6 months these speeds have gone down to 20k.
Used to be able to download clost to 1.1 GB/ night , now max download is close to 550-600mb every night.
Unfortunately I've paid till november so can't switch plans. There is absolutely no downtime to be honest but torrent speeds have died down which is extremely annoying. Costs me about 1200-1300 a month inclusive of taxes.
Will rethink about this connection considering tata indicom etc offer better speeds at lower prices.
Any other 5net users from sion having any other plan please let me know.

hi..got uss256 as well..as u say i too get the green tick in utorrent but speeds are hovering arnd 30-40 only havnt tried http yet..phoenix or neone else using 5net who know a work a round for this torrent speeds problem..pls post it here..

damn..http speeds also not xceeding 30-40..crap..is it only for namesake that they mention 3 mbps...and one cant even argue cuz the plan says 256-3 Mbps..so basically the speeds are within the plan..hope things will improve.
