CPU/Mobo Cheap Build - 12k

Need help in buying the following parts within 11-12k. I donot plan to overclock.

Motherboard - ?

Processor - ?

Graphics Card - Should I go for Mercury 8600gt 256 ddr3?

Cabinet and PSU - ?

Ram - Already have Transcend 2gb ddr2 800mhz.

Hdd - Already have Seagate 160gb.

Also have dvd writer, speakers, mouse, keyboard, monitor.

If u intend to OC by any chance, slap a AC Freeze or a TR Ultima + a generic 120mm fan; 2.5k max :P

without the graphics card it'll work out to 8 - 8.5k

with the graphics card it'll work out to 11-11.5k

Oh seems good enuf at Rs. 1100/-

I doubt if those ppeps have changed the amperage rating in the +12v rails from 18A [IIRC].
 
instad of the Biostar Mobo get the Palit with the Nvidia chipset .. and u have almost saved enuf for a 9600GSO, more than 2X fster than the 8600GT.

Since u aren't gonna OC, you can do away without the P35 chipset.

And try getting the Galaxy 9600GSO; :P

It can be easily soft modded to a 8800GTS 512; :)
 
I have the same budget I have plans for :-

CPU- E2160 <-- 2k (will oc to 2.5-2.8 Ghz)

MOBO- Biostar 7050v-m7 although I have Asus P5GZ-MX (it won't o/c :( ) 2K

HDD - ?? (cheapest) 1.5K

Ram - ?? (Will make money by selling my DDR1 ram)

Gfx- mercury 8600gt

Cabinet - I have a sh!t xentis cupboard :( I will buy a 2K antibiotic will go for looks ;)

PSU - ?? 1k
