True. If the account exists, the money is credited to that one. Read about this in some forum. Dunno if the IFSC/Branch needs to match.
 
Will check with bank if I get time in between these days or it will be after 5th march - as I hate going to gov banks bcoz of longg queue..
If the amount is refunded in my account then it will be no doubt, I will credit the same in your account.
Till that time have mercy on me.. so that I can study for upcoming exams..

You could have explained the facts to me in pm, you never did so. I dont wanna get into more details,. i ll let the facts speak for themselves,

There is also no need for last 10 days' statement, if the amount was credited to some other account then a screenshot of that line entry is proof enough. If this entry does not exist then there must've been a refund. This will surely get cleared in the account statement by 5th March.

In case of ICICI intrabank transfers they verify account name with number (while adding a payee), but don't/can't verify it if the account is from a different bank. I am not sure about SBI. Lets hope for the best.
 
I copied and pasted the wrong account details to another member who purchased my NAS, he got the refund instantly, So its 100% correct to assume that seller has got refund.

I visited state bank here and they said if user name and pass word entered wrong thrice the account gets disabled for 24 hours only , it does not get permanently disabled .
And reg phone msg / SMS for credits . If the amount threshold is set below certain amount then the beneficiary won't get such messages.
Just sharing what I came to know today.

Also I came to know something about this sellers dealing on other forum, will share that at an appropriate time .
Will wait till march 5th as per sellers request

^ yea i once entered wrong password in my a/c ( non sbi ) , it was only blocked for 24 hours & i got a sms when it was unblocked next day .

Leaving everything aside, how careless can you get? How many times have you given out wrong account details?

Edit: I know this post does not help anyone. So mods can delete it if they want :)
