City Center Mall is located in Sector 28 of Washi. Owners of a website named "Mulla.com" aired advertisements in local cable channel to mark website inauguration saying that anyone can visit the mall on the launching day of the website and collect Rs. 1000 but no permission was taken from the police. Around 8 to 10 thousand people gathered near the mall.

The poor, the needy and the 'just curious' had flocked to the glass gates of the mall for some 'free money' that one Aaron Entertainment had promised. By about 4.30 pm, after a considerable wait, the 15,000-strong crowd that had come from as far off as Kalyan, Thane, Govandi and Mankhurd, realised there was no free lunch and started pelting stones at City Centre, leading to a pandemonium and a traffic snarl on Palm Beach Road.

not easily broken by a brick or stone. Guess i was wrong...

Poor people. Can't really blame them as most of them may have genuinely needed the money. False advertising is to be really blamed.

really disgraceful. It's this behaviour which is shamful. Destroying something nice is so easy than creating it.
