They are normal ATX power supply but in small forum factor. the main thing is input voltage is 12v dc and they connect to motherboard 24 port directly. They generally have a 4 pin cpu connector, 1x sata and molex connectors. They come in different wattage like 100,120,160,200 etc. They are fan less and run silent.
