honestly, I am not aware of its quality, because i have not used it. It was bought for my friend as a standby card about a year back, when he was gathering money to get a highend creative card(he had altec lansing 5.1)
He bought creative card in few weeks time and this card is lying sealed since then
I just tested for sri_rng, its getting properly detected in Win7 (though driver not installed)

Its the chip which matters, so searching for its performance over the net would be a good idea. My guess it, it will be decent entry level card for value 5.1 speakers much better than onboard ones
 
Taking it solely for windows7 as my existing sound card doesn't have drivers for it.

As i told in PM, I cant guarantee(no one can) 100% win7 compatibility as the drivers available are only BETA(from their site), and OS is just released
It may work, it may not (most probably should)
