Generals? The FMV sequences are what makes these games what they are. Westwood were amongst the best rts devs around until the whores at EA bought them up. I'm going to buy this baby. I fell in love with tiberian sun.

Just hope I can get it to run on my crappola system.

For a change this is an EA game that seems to run without any performance problems. Performance infact is extremely good for the graphics quality. I guess its gotta do with the ex westwood peepz who made this game than EA. Still its strange coming from EA :rofl:.

Assuming it defeats a Mammoth,have you considered the cost?

Avatar = 3000

Flame tank =1000

Stealth tank = 1000

Beam Cannon = 1000

Raider Buggy = 400

Total = 6400

For that much I can buy a Mammoth(2500) and upgrade to railguns (3000) for 5500 and leave another 900 in the bank and that railgun upgrade will be in use for every Mammoth I buy but the Avatar you will have to upgrade every time ;) , Oh yeah dont forget the build time for that ^ 30+10+10+10+4 = 64 seconds, 2 Mammoths = 50 seconds, railgun upgrade done once for 90 seconds.

No, The scrin Annihilator Tripod is not god in terms of pure brute force but it is the best unit in terms of attacking large clusters of enemy units as it has three independent tentacles which each fire a separate laser.

These should be amazing versus mass amount of predators/scorpions even if they try to flank it.
 
Kane has not died because of the story, Nod has been defeated every time they surface. Not to mention Mc'Neil killed Kane in TS...lol Mc'Neil!

Kane is alive to sell C&C to the masses and of course Kane adds a bit of story to the game with his mysterious origins. Kane is a good part of the story but that does not mean that Nod rules GDI as it is evident that GDI defeated Nod twice.

If your interested at the end of C&C 3 : TW Nod won't win either, its more of a stalemate between all three factions with GDI controlling most of the planet, I read this over at PlanetCnC, Hexetic was able to go to EALA and talk to the makers of the game and get a preview on C&C 3 in December.
