No harm. It's actually the shape of the Mentos lozenge that is the biggest reason for these jets.
Maybe if you drink a lot of a Coke and swallow a Mentos whole, then you have problems .

Yeah, you gotta admit those bottles rocketing off tops it all.

So the cap is lightly screwed on, or is it just a cork, they have dropped a whole pack of mentos into the bottle and it prolly is only half full and given a good shake before being dropped.
