Hi
I need to buy Cold water dispenser or a Refrigerator for my staff of 8. Mainly cold water is needed. What works out better in long run, a Refrigerator which has life of more than 12 years or these water dispenser which are quite popular.
A dispenser is costing around 7k to 8.5k wherè as a Refrigerator would be 10k to 12k with star rating varying from 1 to 4.
Its confusing as the electricity cost maybe high in refrigerator. Mainly would be using for 10 to 12 hrs per day.
Anybody has first hand experience of water dispenser and how are they in long run.

Water dispenser would be better of the two since it can directly fit 20 litre barrels and refrigerator will be less effective with frequent opening of doors (unless dispenser is built in) and one cant fit 20 litre barrels to it IMO, so one will have to fill water too frequently in it. Will surely consume more electricity than dispenser. So unless there is use of all the space in refrigerator its not worthwhile.

Best suggestion is, avoid refrigerated water. Its very bad for health. Either use cool water from clay pot (mataka) or room temperature water.
