Storage Solutions Combo Drive Problem

Hey guys i have Samsung Combo Drive SH-S203D, Now when i insert CD or DVD in it, it produces some kinda sound and does not read CD's n DVD's sometimes n sometimes it does read dem......although i can burn disc's but im not able to verify them..... What has happened to my drive? Do i've to buy new?

If its under an yr old, see if u can get an RMA. IINM it wouldn't have been 6-7 months since u've assembled the new rig. (u're Switch's cousin aint ya?)
