I love playing RTS, but would stick to single player campaign than the competitive multiplayer. Is it worth the buy for campaign mode or is it too short to put the money on it??

Can someone throw some lights on the campaign hrs of play?

^^ If this is anything like the previous title in the series then expect ~15 -->25 hours of Campaign time (depending on the difficulty) and how many paths you follow in the game.

Also, if we have expansion packs (instead of DLC's) expect them to add another ~10 hours of game-time.

I am expecting this to have a robust multi-player because Relic has had plenty of time to tweak the same in Dawn of War II and its expansions.

Also playing on LAN OR vs. AI in skirmish mode is fun because the amount of challenge can turn a point capture / defence choke-point into a spectacle in itself.

You seem to like exactly the same type of games I like :D.
Can't wait for this game myself. The story and the gameplay experience was awesome in the first part. I liked the german story more thou :P.

Well it is a great game for me from a gamer as well as student point of view.

Which one, Opposing Fronts OR Tales of Valour, the latter title was passable in my opinion, nothing new. Just an experiment in which the squad mechanics of DoW II was tried to be adapted for the CoH titles. Did not work.

I don't recollect which part was it. But personally I enjoyed both parts.
Student point of view?.
 
Ok if you buy it on Steam or other places like thq sega website direct, amazon, origin etc you get guaranteed beta access on Steam which is about to start real soon now!

Anyone know if you get beta access if you preorder the Indian version from Flipkart or Nextworld now??

Thank you for that. Downloaded and installed and already at level 3 lol. If you are playing coh2 as well maybe you can add me [bratprince24] on steam so we could do some coh2 beta testing with lesser lag ourselves? maybe do a couple of mirror matches?

'Bit'!? Its actually very confusing many coh fans are having a hard time understanding why Relic had to mess with the ui and to a lesser but significant extent game play mechanics even for a great game like Coh. They could have just improved on all of the stuff that made vCoh great.

If you go to the discussion forum for coh2 closed beta on Sega's website, many many many ppl are also complaining about how confusing and stupid the new UI is
 
yeah i got used to germans after few matches and rank 11 now .. still not able to win playing as soviet ...

Sorry, my internet went down and is still down, so no Steam and no CoH2 :( Will add you once it comes up.
